The work of Brushstrokes has always involved input from committed volunteers. In particular, Brushstrokes' ESOL/IT
teaching and home visiting services benefit tremendously from volunteers, who freely share their time and talents. Other main
areas are hospitality, office administration and general maintenance of the centre and its grounds.
A notable achievement
is the fact that a number of people who, in the past, have received assistance from Brushstrokes, now contribute to the office
through volunteering. Brushstrokes always welcomes any offer of voluntary help and , in return, pays travel costs as well
as provides opportunities for training and skills development.
